Here's an almost immaculate JVC L-A31 semi-automatic direct drive turntable. I definitely lean towards the Technics brand when I restore a table but other models do catch my eye with their performance and appearance. The L-A31 has always been a great performer for me. They hold speed incredibly well and sound and look great. As usual I went through this table and it's plug and play ready. Currently an AT cart and stylus which have been properly aligned and balanced reside on the table but I change my carts often and odds are the cart in the photo is not currently on the table.
I've been restoring turntables for almost three years now and have sold over 250 tables in that time. The reason I started this hobby was because I wanted people to realize how truly amazing vinyl can sound on a quality system. I kept seeing people purchasing these toy tables with built in speakers that reminded me of the Fisher Price table I had when I was eight. New records (yeah, I'm old) aren't cheap, please don't spend more on a new album than you do on a turntable, you'll just end up regretting the purchase. I do work out of my house, but obviously this keeps my overhead incredibly low. I stand behind what I sell and would listen to any of my albums on the tables I have for sale. When you purchase a table from me I will answer any of your questions and explain the table to you in detail. I would estimate that customers are at my house anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes on average. I want you to feel comfortable with your purchase.
I really enjoy getting people back into the world of vinyl. Stop by and take a peek at my inventory and you can hear whatever table you are interested in.
