Very clean full auto direct drive SL-1950 turntable, (just some fine scratches in one corner which the cover hides well when closed). This is one of my favorite performing and looking turntables which was produced between 77-78. If you want, grab a 33 rpm Technics stacker spindle and you can have one serious old school looking table. As usual with my inventory the table has been thoroughly gone through with all key features being freshly lubed and all speed potentiometers cleaned with CRC QD contact cleaner, all functions operate well. An Ortofon OM10 is responsible for the tunes, and it sounds great (it's my personal cart, I have other models available though). The dust-cover on this one is very clean!
I've been restoring Technics Tables for two years now and have almost 300 tables in that time. The reason I started this hobby was because I wanted people to realize how truly amazing vinyl can sound on a quality system. I kept seeing people purchasing these toy tables with built in speakers that reminded me of the Fisher Price table I had when I was eight. New records aren't cheap, please don't spend more on a new album than you do on a turntable, you'll just end up regretting the purchase. I do work out of my house, but obviously this keeps my overhead incredibly low. I stand behind what I sell and would listen to any of my albums on the tables I have for sale. When you purchase a table from me I will answer any of your questions and explain the table to you in detail. I would estimate that customers are at my house anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes on average. I want you to feel comfortable with your purchase.
Check out our local record stores. Horizon, Pharmacy and Cabin Floor have a great bunch of people working there.
