Near perfect Technics SL-1800 circa 1977 direct drive turntable. I cleaned both speed pots and the selector switch with CDC QD contact cleaner and lubed the main bearings. This table holds speed great and the plinth is in excellent condition. I buffed the dustcover and it's in great shape with some fine scratches present. This is a plug and play ready table which has been completely gone through and bench tested. All of the vital bushings and components have received fresh lube and the table operates at 100%.
I've been restoring Technics Tables for four years now and have sold (I'm tired of counting, a lot!) of tables in that time. The reason I started this hobby was because I wanted people to realize how truly amazing vinyl can sound on a quality system. New records aren't cheap, please don't spend more on a new album than you do on a turntable, you'll just end up regretting the purchase. I do work out of my house, but obviously this keeps my overhead incredibly low. I stand behind what I sell and would listen to any of my albums on the tables I have for sale. When you purchase a table from me I will answer any of your questions and explain the table to you in detail. I would estimate that customers are at my house anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes on average. I want you to feel comfortable with your purchase.
Check out our local record stores. Horizon, Pharmacy and Cabin Floor have a great bunch of people working there.
