New dustcovers are in and they look fantastic!

Lets be clear about one thing. In 1978 every model turntable that Technics produced was of good quality. Even the entry level tables (which the SL-220 is) would beat the pants off of the entry to mid end tables today. The 220 shares the same geometry, armtube and headshell as the SL-1200 MKII and has excellent sound specs. Don't be fooled by the know it alls! You don't have to spend thousands of dollars to have a nice sounding system. For $200 - $300 dollars you can be all set.

I disassembled and detoxed the speed potentiometers along with the speed selector switch and the main speed controls in this unit and also installed a new belt. Haven't decided on the cartridge yet but I'll show you what I have available.

All of my tables have been thoroughly gone through and serviced and require little if any maintenance. The minimum that each table goes through is the following, motor bearings lubed, replace and refresh any old grease with white lithium grease, clean the speed pots (not an a quartz locked unit) and set all of the tonearm functions accordingly. All functions will operate correctly or the turntable will not be sold! In the future if you need any help or have questions just give me a call, text or email, I'll always make myself available. Furthermore I'll never sell a table I wouldn't personally use on a daily basis. I believe in my product and stand behind my turntables.

I've been restoring Technics Tables for well over four years now and have sold just under 500 tables in that time. The reason I started this hobby was because I wanted people to realize how truly amazing vinyl can sound on a quality system. Please don't spend more on a new album than you do on a turntable, you'll just end up regretting the purchase. I do work out of my house, but obviously this keeps my overhead incredibly low. I stand behind what I sell and would listen to any of my albums on the tables I have for sale. When you purchase a table from me I will answer any of your questions and explain the table to you in detail. I would estimate that customers are at my house anywhere from 45 to 90 minutes on average. I want you to feel comfortable with your purchase.

Check out Horizon, Pharmacy and Cabin Floor Records! A great bunch of people work there!!
