Sometimes called Jade Dragon, Cryptomeria 'Gyokuryo' is a cultivar of Japanese Cedar. It gets to be from 15-20' tall and 8-12' wide, but if you prune the vertical growth shoots once or twice a year it can be kept at a much smaller size. It likes a sunny spot but can tolerate bright shade. It is also drought tolerant once it is established. The foliage does not bronze in the Winter in most locations, especially on older plants. These are young plants in 3 gallon pots (see the last photo). Please call before you come. Thanks.
