🔥 Eggs DAILY – Skip the chick stage and start collecting now! They may slow down a few days after being moved but once they settle down into their new spot, those eggs will come in abundance.
We are offering a beautiful, healthy flock of 1-year-old Rhode Island Reds – one of the BEST heritage egg-laying breeds you can own. The breed that America was built on during the worst of times. They are in great feather, have been deloused for mites, lice, etc organically. They also have been wormed not too long ago. This flock isn't just any regular old flock. We carefully put this flock together with 6 different hatcheries and individual breeders to ensure genetic diversity. We also only kept individuals that grew and feathered out quickly as baby chicks, and had the proper genes at birth for producing chicks that could be sexed at day of birth to create our own strain. This hatchery secret has been our turnkey way of profiting and beating the competition for years. I don't want to let them go. However I have over 200 chickens and just recently was offered a breed I had in the past and I have always wanted back. It's either they have to go, or I have to build a pen. Unfortunately I don't have the money to build a pen at the moment. Im well aware the price is high. That's because I know what genetics I have here and I know if I do have to keep them they are one of my main stream money makers every year. I've spent a lot of time, and gas driving within South Carolina, to north Carolina and Georgia to buy local stock from breeders. I also had three orders of chicks that cost around $200 per order. One hatcheries chicks were weak and were falling over from arrival. They didn't care and so their entire line of chicks that remained were taken out of the gene pool. We only kept the healthiest, most robust birds we could find that met our standards year after year. Careful breeding, selection, and the best or food. With lots of love we were able to pick a rooster that was gentle and would protect his hens and not harm his caretakers.
