These are third generation Olive Eggers, meaning each generation we are selectively breeding for a darker, richer olive egg. Our current flock already lays beautiful eggs and this next generation will lay even darker than what we have now.
A few things to know about multigenerational Olive Eggers - there is always a standard 25% chance of getting a brown egg layer in the bunch. These still lay gorgeous, deep chocolate brown eggs so they are absolutely not a disappointment, just part of the genetics!
We test our hatch rates weekly so you can feel confident you are getting fresh, viable eggs with proven fertility.
