The Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute Pro 1079cc is a special edition motorcycle that pays tribute to the company’s first air-cooled twin-cylinder engine launched in 1971. This unique bike combines the captivating looks of Ducati’s iconic models from the past with the modern technologies and features found in the Scrambler 1100 Pro lineup. It is powered by a robust 1,079cc air-cooled L-Twin engine, delivering 86 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 66.5 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm, providing an exhilarating riding experience.
Some of the key features include three riding modes (Active, Journey, and City), Ducati Traction Control (DTC) for enhanced safety, and IMU-enhanced cornering ABS for improved braking performance. The suspension system consists of a fully adjustable 45mm inverted Marzocchi fork and an adjustable Kayaba shock with progressive linkage, ensuring optimal handling and comfort. The braking system boasts radial-mount monoblock Brembo M4.32 calipers gripping 320mm discs at the front for reliable stopping power. Additionally, the bike comes equipped with the Ducati Multimedia System for seamless smartphone connectivity.
Why I'm selling:
This was my very first moto purchase this summer. It was love at first site and, one of my favorite colors! But after a short amount of time riding it I realized that I need to gain more experience riding before I own such a powerful bike. I have since I was a kid, dreamed of one day owning my own Ducati and, I sure as heck made that happen! However;
After traveling to the Dominican Republic twice this summer, riding 250cc duals around for a week+, and got in a minor wreck with a 2nd degree burn on my leg I realized I have no business owning an 1100 (lol). Not to mention this is a brand new bike with not a single scuff mark! (I'm not ready for a bike this profound)
As much as I love this bike, I need to find it a new home.
Maybe later on I will buy another bike this nice but for now, I feel it is best that I replace it with something more rugged, less powerful, and a size that I have more control over because knowing myself, it's not ideal for me to own this beauty of a beast!!
