Has been adjusted (November 2025) with a new headjoint cork. Pads are in great condition and key corks/adjustments are in optimal playing condition as well.
Used for only one year, the flute only has minor signs of light use with no dings, dents, or scratches. Plays extremely easily and fluidly throughout the entire range, with plenty of "heft" when pushed. Pearl flutes are known for their even, consistent scale, and this flute is no exception. Intonation is spot-on, and projection is a breeze. The C# trill is a wonderful upgrade as it allows for effortless trills (B-C#, C-C#, high G-A, high Ab-Bb) and gives tone color options when playing open C#.
Comes with an as-new Pearl case cover and the trademark green velvet-lined leather French case. The case exterior does show some minor wear, as does the leather on the interior, but the case itself is extremely sturdy and both latches work properly. Also included is a Pearl tuning rod and 5 open hole plugs.
This would be an incredible upgrade for an advancing flutist or an adult amateur. With Christmas just weeks away, this would be the ideal gift for that aspiring musician. Very comfortable for both larger and smaller hands with its offset G design and removable plugs for the open hole keys.
