I’m a guitarist/ vocalist who also produces for an already established metalCORE/ DJENT project here in the South East. My stuff has been generally well received and has been featured on some pretty big promotion channels like beheading the traitor. I’ll try to be brief with the ad, so I’ll keep things to a minimum. The style is alot like VOLUMES, AFTER THE BURIAL, THE GHOST INSIDE, TEXAS IN JULY, THE ACACIA STRAIN etc (if you listen to this genre, you’ll know these bands).

Here’s the dilemma:
-As of right now, I write and record all the material, but I want to play shows and ultimately get the band signed. I have already gotten in contact with labels, the issue is, for a band to be signed, it really needs potential to put on some crazy shows. Unfortunately, as you may already know, this area of the country isn’t exactly teaming with metalcore musicians. I feel the project has an incredible amount of potential, and I would like to find some solid bandmates to make it come to life.

-A drummer who is skilled in highly technical rhythms
-Someone who is familiar with modern metal/ djent styles
-Someone who is willing to practice the material on their own (that way when we get together to practice, it won’t be a shitshow lol)
-Someone who is also willing and excited to work on new material as well
Most importantly: someone who is willing to play live shows

-Sorry to any of you old-school metal dudes (I have alot of respect for your style too) but I’m looking for someone who really knows their stuff when it comes to extremely complex rhythming, we’re not talking about metallica, iron maiden type stuff (again, the utmost respect for your style)
-Again NO OLD SCHOOL METAL STUFF- sorry, I know it's confusing, metal is a broad term
-Someone who can get together to practice all the time ( that’s just not realistic)

If you’re still reading at this point, thankyou! I'm sure you’re wondering, “why only a drummer?” Well in order to practice the material, as the rhythm guitarist, what I really need is a drummer. (as it is highly rhythmical) We can find a bassist and vocalist later on. Also good drummers come a dime a dozen. The important thing to me currently is to get the rhythm section of the band on its feet. (you can’t practice metalcore without a drummer).

Also, I didn’t want to use Craiglist as a medium for promoting my band, so if you’d like to hear my stuff HMU! I will gladly send you links!!
Thankyou so much for reading! HMU if you’re interested.
