Admissions Coordinator (Mill Spring, NC)

Admissions Coordinator

Location: Mill Spring, NC

Hours:
*Monday – Friday day shift
*On call with Admissions phone option


Responsibilities:
*Supports the daily operations of the admissions office
*Prepared the clinical review of all prospective resident records for the Admissions Manager
*Works with the team and referral sources to compile new admissions records
*Ensures compliance with CooperRiis, local, state, and federal regulations
*Completes pre-certifications for private insurance in collaboration with third-part medical billing
*Has knowledge of insurance claims process and how it relates to behavioral health: medical necessity, behavioral
health coding, utilization review, continuing stay review
*Strong customer service for residents and family
*Collaboration with marketers, referral sources, direct care staff, and leadership
*Attends admissions meetings and provides clinical recommendations
*Participates in campus tours, provides an overview of the admissions process and recovery program


Qualifications:
*Experience with the admissions process
*3 years experience working with insurance and medical billing
*Marketing and customer service experience preferred
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong administrative ability including organization skills, attention to detail, and computer skills
*High degree of professionalism, ability to be self-directed, autonomous, and take initiative
*Creative and critical thinking skills
*Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Commitment to person-centered service delivery
