Our beloved Daisy needs a new home.
She is approximately 5 or 6 years old. Very potty trained, leash trained, beep collar trained. She will jump a fence if she is left outside in one. She wants to be with her people. Before I got her she lived with an elderly woman in a nursing home and did great. She is happiest cuddled next to a human. She has never met a stranger and likes ALL people.
I'm going to be 100% transparent. This dog is amazing, loving, cuddly, loyal, and such a wonderful companion, however, she is having BAD food and small dog aggression. Its gotten to be so hard to manage what we have going on and keeping the animals safe. No cats, no livestock, no small dogs, no dogs around period if there is food. You cannot even prepare food bowls with her in the room without risk of her lashing out at another dog. She loves dogs but ideally a house with no dogs and only human companions would be the safest. Again, she has a dozen doggy best friends, absolutely loves Arlo, but can't be trusted at random with a smaller animal.
She has always had a high prey drive, we have worked through that and she is VERY responsive on a training collar. One beep and she's running to you to obey. She is great off leash, shes active and ready to hike but also happy to relax on the couch all day. She is incredible with my kids, however not all kids are like my kids so I reccomend only older (10+) children who will not jump, pull, and prod on her.
It makes me sick to have to do this, but our household has too many dogs in and out, chickens, sheep next door, and cats. Making sure she is not triggered while running this household is impossible.
She is loved by SO many people, everyone who has ever met her absolutely loves her. The moment I met her, she hugged me and it was immediate adoration.
If anyone knows anyone at all that wants a really loving and forever loyal companion, please send them my way. If local she will have endless free grooming for her life at my grooming shop. I could even pet sit her for free if you go out of town.
