We’re looking for someone to step into the legend that is Don Gato — Mexico’s most famous (and most feline) retired luchador, dreamed up by Danny McBride himself. As Don Gato, your role is to bring the brand to life at events through confident presence, fun interactions, and a little bit of cool charm.
You’ll pose for photos, represent the tequila, and help make the brand memorable — no wrestling required.
Important Note:
Don Gato does not speak. He lets his presence (and outfit) do the talking. Think strong, silent type… with a flair for the dramatic.
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum height of 6’1” (or 5’10”+ if willing to wear 3” lifts provided)
A larger build to fit the suit and carry the Don Gato persona
Medium skin tone to look authentically Hispanic — ideally naturally, or with assistance around the eyes, neck, and hands
Comfortable wearing a costume and embodying a character in public
Black shoes, black pants, and a black t-shirt
We’ll Provide:
Don Gato’s signature luchador mask and iconic blue jacket (please provide your jacket size)
Jewelry, a championship belt, lifts (if needed), and an empty bottle of Tequila Don Gato
