Universal Intermodal services all major US Ports and intermodal Rail Ramps and offers domestic door-to-door drayage to and from Ports, Rails, and Customer Facilities. We operate from 40 terminals and eight container yards. We provide Chassis, Containers, Drayage, and Services for Imports, Exports, and Domestic moves.
Summary
We are currently seeking skilled Owner/Operator Regional Truck Drivers to join our team in Duncan, SC and support our Charleston and Savannah terminals. This position is vital for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight across designated routes. As a Truck Driver, you will play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for quality service.
Responsibilities
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently.
Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status.
Company owned chassis
24-hour road service department

Home every night with occasional 2 day OTR
Average 50 hours/week

500-600 miles per day

Requirements
6 months or more of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years
CDL A CDL
TWIC Card
Hazmat Preferred
Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
2005 or newer tractor
At least 21 years of age
Sleeper van preferred
