Details:
Trees are already cut down and sectioned to 5–6 ft lengths
Most logs are 24"–32" in diameter
Wood is solid and would be great for live-edge slabs, countertops, or tables (White Oak & Red Oak)
***City is requesting immediate removal, so this is time-sensitive***
I’ve received a couple of quotes for haul-off, but everyone just wants to take them to the landfill — which seems like a huge waste of perfectly usable hardwood.
If you have a portable sawmill, I'd be happy to assist with cutting, loading, or moving the logs.
I’m more than willing to compensate someone who can bring the right equipment and sees the value in the wood — whether that’s for your own use or resale. The quotes I’ve received so far have been egregiously high, especially considering everyone just plans to haul it to the landfill. I’d much rather see it go to someone who can actually put it to good use.
